Synopsis

Ki-woo Kim (Choi Woo-Shik) can be a young man living in poverty in the slums of a nameless Southern region Korean city with his loved ones – father Ki-taek Kim (Song Kang-ho), mother Chung-sook Kim (Jang Hye-jin), and sister Ki-jung (Park So-dam). The family lives in a back garden unit where they battle finding a Wi-Fi signal for you to sneak into in order to get access to the Internet to watch TV, get fumigated on, and have to watch guys urinating in the alley exterior their home. Ki-woo takes the rock and roll, and the family sleeps within a shelter for the night.

The following day, Mrs. Park decides to throw an impromptu bash for Da-song.
