Men rekindles his relationship with his former wife, which will not sit well with another woman who's obsessed with him. A recovering alcoholic college professor trying to put his or her life back together meets the seductive new student. The lady offers him a fragile escape from reality till he realizes she might be insane.

We Belong Together, like most “That woman is actually crazy! ” films, doesn’t make said woman a complicated figure but more so any generic replica of just what you’re already familiar with. 26-year-old Tracy has just got out of jail and enrolled with a college in Los Angeles, possibly Sacramento, for reasons unidentified. We’re never told her main or interest, just that the lady ends up in a Mythology wine glass ran by a Mr. Jones Lewis.

Someone who just recently obtained off a sabbatical they took due to his living falling apart. Yet, with him or her sober now and fixing the relationships he destroyed, he feels stable and possibly happy. That’s until Tracy, jealous of the closeness Thomas has with his TA, Leslie, decides she wants him. Thus leading to a series of occasions you can likely already imagine. Well, outside of the ending, the minor change from what we often see.

Initially, I thought this was going to be like Only For One Night in, despite the low expectations for Draya Michele, the bar would be raised. Which often, in some ways, it was. However, I must admit, I don’t know if it was her operating and how she played away Whitfield or because of how much Stoke plays on her attractiveness which leaves you gaping. For with the way We Belong Together is hit, you come to understand how Betty was seduced.

How, regardless of his mind saying no, temptation, over and over, wore lower his morals and sense of right and wrong until he couldn’t aid but give in. Especially taking into consideration he was single, likely hasn’t been with someone throughout months, maybe over a year, and it isn’t like the girl had any friends over and above his AA sponsor spectacular TA. Tracy (Draya Michele) trying to invite Thomas to possess sex. Initially, I thought it was going to be like Only For A single Night in, despite the very low expectations for Draya Michele, the bar would be raised. Which often, in some ways, it was. Still, I must admit, I don’t recognize if it was her performing and how she played off Whitfield or because of simply how much Stoke plays on her beauty which leaves you gaping.

For with the way We Belong Together is chance, you come to understand how Jones was seduced. How, regardless of his mind saying simply no, temptation, over and over, wore straight down his morals and feeling of right and incorrect until he couldn’t aid but give in. Especially considering he was single, likely hasn’t been with someone in months, maybe over a 12 months, and it isn’t like the dude had any friends beyond his AA sponsor and his TA. But, as we enterprise into Tracy getting a tad crazy, that is when Michele seems to be pushing herself past wherever she is as an actress.

Which often isn’t to say she caint play crazy, the way your ex eyes look in some moments may give you pause, but between her dialog, the performance, and the story?

We have a strong vibe that when this particular film was made, they should possess followed the policy of “Less is more. ” Complaint They Could Have Made Tracy’s Cause of Flipping Out Better The condition with damn near just about all films like this is they generate the woman crazy without adding much, if any, onus on the man. And mind you, yes Tracy did lie about quite a few things, however there were multiple warning signs, as noted, that Thomas disregarded.

Some of which should have made it crystal clear, if you are going to have sex with this woman on the regular, be full-on intimate, you should come proper.

Yet, the film will not really allow Tracy to get someone complex and complicated. Her mental illness, currently often used in films this way, is just a quick and easy means to make clear why she is acting just how she does. That and because, I guess, the d*** was so bomb that the girl couldn’t allow someone to get involved the way of consistent appointments.

All of which seems like such lazy writing, since we see it sometimes, that it takes away from every little thing Michele was doing that will made this seem like a good function for her.
